This year the Walla Walla Valley Disability Network and SOAR had the honor of partnering with the Walla Walla Valley Summer Theater to offer our families and participants the opportunity to go see their production of Walt Disney's Beauty & the Beast.
This was a first time experience for many of our families and participants and it was truly wonderful. The performance was wonderful and our participants were enjoying every minute of the play. Afterwards, SOAR participants participated in a very special meet and greet with the cast.
Overall this was a wonderful and joyous event for all that attended and we would like to extend a very special thank you to Tyson Kaup, Kaelyn Pyke, and the cast and crew members of the Walla Walla Summer Theater for making this happen.
This experience is currently being followed up with a Diverse Abilities Drama Camp produced by the Walla Walla Summer Theater and hosted by the WWVDN. A Mixed Up Fairy Tale performance will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 16th and we invite YOU to join us and cheer on our cast members!
