Over 60 people braved triple-digit heat on July 14, 2024, to join us in celebrating the Walla Walla Valley Disability Network's 10th anniversary at Fort Walla Walla's picnic shelter. As expected at a birthday celebration, there were games, prizes, cupcakes, lemonade, balloon animals from Joyful Creations by Sara, foot-stomping live music provided by Mike Mendoza of Blazing Guitars, and even two partygoer birthdays to sing for. We also had games and information from Akin (formerly Children's Home Society) and Focused Behavior Solutions. WWVDN took this opportunity to recognize and thank some of our many volunteers who generously share their time and talents with us. To everyone who has been involved with WWVDN over the past 10 years, we say, "THANK YOU!"
