Transition Workshop Series: Partners for Housing
DUE TO WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS, THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD ON ZOOM ONLY.
Pam Blanton with Partners4Housing will join us to talk about housing solutions for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Partners4Housing was created in 2010 after founder and CEO Pam Blanton realized there had to be a better way for families of individuals with IDD to find roommates and set up shared housing solutions. As a former housing coordinator in Seattle and an acknowledged expert in her field, Pam helped 450 people with IDD move into housing over a 5-year period. She has worked with people who receive SSI, SSDI, State Residential Support, Medicaid-funded personal care services, supported employment income, and Section 8 housing subsidies.
With more than 30 years of experience helping families of people with IDD find suitable housing, Pam is driven to apply and share her knowledge and leave the world a little better than she found it.
