Diverse Abilities Drama Camp
WWVDN & Walla Walla Summer Theater present this week long drama experience for youth and adults who are neurodiverse or have an intellectual, physical, or developmental disability.
Dates: August 12-16
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: extended to Sunday, August 11 at 6:00 pm
Time: We will have 2 meeting sessions each day as follows:
~ 10:00 am to 12:00 pm cast & crew age 6 to 12
~ 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm cast & crew who are 13 and older
A few larger roles may need to occasionally be at both sessions for rehearsals on specific days.
Ages: 6 - 99
Cost: FREE
We will be casting, rehearsing, and performing the one-act play called "A Mixed Up Fairy Tale." There are many different roles in this play. For those who do not like being on stage, we will have crew positions backstage. Characters on stage can have no spoken lines, 1-5 spoken lines, 5-10 spoken lines, or a very limited number of roles have larger speaking parts. When registering please indicate your comfort level and preferred number of lines.
Rehearsals will be Monday 8/12 through the morning of Friday 8/16 with a performance at the Center for Children & Families on Friday, August 16 at 1:00pm.
Diverse Abilities Drama Camp will be held in person at the Center for Children & Families and is limited to 35 participants.
