Dependable, hard-working, ambitious, and persistent – these are the first four descriptors that come to mind when I think of my team member, Brian Hough. Brian has been working part-time alongside me at our ranch since early this year.
Our primary work here at Thiessen Ranch is raising and selling Angus beef direct to consumers both locally and across the country. To that end, Brian works hard each week to help me pack beef, label and brand packaging, prepare shipments, keep our workspace clean, and make local deliveries. He also completes data entry into our online email platform, keeping our database current.
We are a small, family-run business, with only one employee aside from my husband and our children who helps maintain our pastures and tend to the cattle. When Brian started work, it was quickly clear to me that not only did I need the additional assistance, but the help he provides is invaluable to our success.
